For your special event, you want a space as unique as you. World Cafe Live is a one-stop shop for events of all types. With three floors and two separate spaces, we can accommodate events ranging from 50 to 800 guests.
Our dedicated events team will help you create the event of your dreams down to the smallest details. We can provide you with unparalleled event planning services, including customizable menus, state-of-the-art production, and flexible floorplans. It all comes together in one harmonious package at Philadelphia’s leading nonprofit independent venue, World Cafe Live.
The Music Hall
The dynamic downstairs Music Hall is our larger venue, perfect for weddings, commitment ceremonies, Mitzvahs, conferences, holiday parties, fundraisers, galas, and more. This 2800-square-foot space allows for flexible seating arrangements. It can accommodate up to 600 guests standing, 300 theatre seats, 280 table seats, or 220 table seats with a dance floor. The room features a 16x38ft stage, 14′ drop down cinema screen and projector, world-class sound system by Clair Brothers, and full nightclub lighting with a disco ball.
The Lounge is our more intimate venue located on the upper level, ideal for cocktail receptions, happy hours, rehearsal dinners, micro weddings, presentations, meetings, and more. The maximum capacity is 200 guests standing, 120 seated at tables, or 100 seated theatre-style. This 1600-square-foot space features an 11x29ft stage, professional lighting & sound, plus an LCD projector & screen. Perfect for guests who want a cozy space without a big price tag.
Looking to do something special for your next meeting? Add one of our nationally renowned acts as your finale! With a Mezzanine buy-out, you and your team can celebrate in style in our VIP area. With seating for over 50 guests, it’s easy to transition this balcony space from a networking event or meeting to the best seats in the house. Add a dinner buffet or a bar package to make it a night your company won’t forget!
