Formed in the early ʻ00s, THIS WILL DESTROY YOU has spent the last decade and a half touring the planet relentlessly between recording studio albums and core members Jeremy Galindo and Christopher Royal King scoring various films, television, culinary, and other creative entertainment projects in their relative downtime. As part of the tenth anniversary of their LP, Tunnel Blanket, TWDY will be doing a very special series of shows with all new string arrangements performed with a live string ensemble.
Jeff Zeigler is a Philadelphia-based musician, engineer and producer, who, in addition to making records with the War on Drugs, Kurt Vile, Laraaji and Mary Lattimore among others, also plays in synthesizer and harp duo with Ms. Lattimore and an electronics duo with Dash Lewis (Gardener) as well as solo with a mixture of electronics, treated melodica, marxophone, taishogoto and percussion. Equal parts hypnotic and abrasive, he has previously shared the stage with Hans-Joakim Roedelius, Phil Niblock, Merzbow, Blanck Mass, Tashi Wada, and Julia Holter.
