Countdown to Ecstasy

The historic Newtown Theatre and World Cafe Live will present “Countdown to Ecstasy – A Tribute to Steely Dan” featuring Countdown to Ecstasy on Friday, April 7 at 8 PM.

The Newtown concert will include the hits that fans love as well as some deep-cut gems.

Countdown to Ecstasy is well into its second decade of bringing Steely Dan’s music to life on stage. The band doesn’t try to be a clone of Steely Dan but rather pay homage to their legendary music, which blends elements of rock, jazz, Latin music, R&B, blues, and sophisticated studio productions with cryptic and ironic lyrics.
